Fikra For Training and Studies efficiently executed the consultancy role for the ‘Project for Accelerating the Elimination of Child Labor in Supply Chains.’ This included providing specialized consultants for both knowledge and skill-based training. The focus areas encompassed fundamental knowledge regarding child labor issues, immediate elimination of the worst forms of child labor, legal aspects, and the development of skills for individuals and departments within the Ministry of Labor to positively address child labor.

The company supplied scientific, technical, and training materials, concept papers, and background papers essential for the project’s activities. Additionally, Fikra conducted a needs assessment study for childcare and development centers at the Ministry of Social Solidarity in fourteen targeted provinces.

Furthermore, through specialized consultants, the company updated the working tools of the Ministry of Labor inspectors by updating the Labor Inspection Procedures Guide, the Safety and Occupational Health Inspection Procedures Guide, and enhancing the checklist for labor inspection and the checklist for safety and occupational health inspection.”
